Have you noticed that change and uncertainty seem to be ‘constants’ in both our personal lives and in the world at large these days? Things we used to count on and depend upon are shifting beneath our feet. Underlying fear and anxiety may be affecting your sleep, your health, your relationships and your faith.
This fall’s retreat on October 12th, “Fostering Spiritual Resilience in Uncertain Times”, is designed to give you some safe space to acknowledge what is going on in and around you, gain insights and tools to foster your spiritual resilience, and provide time alone and in groups to ponder how God’s love surrounds and sustains us.
While most of the day will be indoors at the lovely Gathering Place, we will have time at lunch to soak up the autumn beauty outdoors and, if you choose, to explore the trails maintained by Vermont Lutheran. Everyone will be invited to participate in their own way throughout the day.
The $25/person fee covers the retreat program and materials, lunch and beverages, and the space rental. Scholarships are available – see Pastor Maggie.
